The Brashear JH girls played Linn County in the 1st round of the Atlanta Tournament Wednesday. It was a tough defensive battle early on with Brashear leading 4-2 after 1 quarter, and Linn County up 7-6 at halftime. Although both teams kept up the defensive pressure in the 2nd half, scoring picked up as Linn County pulled away for a 29-20 win.
